Marsilea hirsuta is a unique carpeting plant that resembles miniature clover, giving your aquarium floor a natural, meadow-like look. This slow but steady grower spreads horizontally and develops different leaf shapes (1, 2, or 4 lobes) depending on lighting and CO₂ levels.

Key Features:

  • Clover-shaped leaves for a soft, organic carpet effect
  • Great for foreground coverage and pathway layouts
  • Tolerates low light but thrives under moderate light and CO₂
  • Minimal trimming required
  • Adaptable to a wide range of water parameters

Planting Instructions:

  1. Remove the plant from the 1-2-Grow! cup and rinse off the gel.
  2. Divide into small clumps using tweezers.
  3. Plant in the foreground substrate with space between each clump.
  4. Provide stable light and root nutrition to promote even spreading.

Note: Can also be used in humid terrariums or vivariums.
