Marsilea hirsuta is a unique carpeting plant that resembles miniature clover, giving your aquarium floor a natural, meadow-like look. This slow but steady grower spreads horizontally and develops different leaf shapes (1, 2, or 4 lobes) depending on lighting and CO₂ levels.
Key Features:
- Clover-shaped leaves for a soft, organic carpet effect
- Great for foreground coverage and pathway layouts
- Tolerates low light but thrives under moderate light and CO₂
- Minimal trimming required
- Adaptable to a wide range of water parameters
Planting Instructions:
- Remove the plant from the 1-2-Grow! cup and rinse off the gel.
- Divide into small clumps using tweezers.
- Plant in the foreground substrate with space between each clump.
- Provide stable light and root nutrition to promote even spreading.
Note: Can also be used in humid terrariums or vivariums.
