Eleocharis pusilla ‘Mini’ is one of the smallest hairgrass species, known for its fine, short, and bright green leaves. Native to Australia and New Zealand, it forms a compact grassy carpet, making it an ideal foreground plant for nano and detailed aquascapes. Its slow and steady growth makes it suitable for stable aquatic environments, especially in shrimp tanks and minimalist aquariums.

Planting Instructions:

• Rinse off the nutrient gel thoroughly with lukewarm water

• Divide the plant into small portions using tweezers

• Plant each portion into a nutrient-rich substrate with small spacing

• Allow space for natural spreading and carpet formation over time

Care Guidelines:

• Light: Medium to high for dense horizontal growth

• CO₂: Recommended for optimal results but not essential

• Temperature: 18 – 28°C

• Trimming: Trim tips occasionally to encourage denser growth
