How to Plant (No Soaking Needed):
- Prepare the Substrate:
- Add a 2–3 cm layer of fine sand or nutrient-rich aquarium soil to the bottom of your tank.
- Moisten the Surface:
- Gently mist the substrate with dechlorinated water until it’s fully moist but not submerged.
- Spread the Seeds:
- Evenly scatter the seeds across the moist surface. Do not cover them with soil.
- Cover and Maintain Humidity:
- Cover the tank with a transparent lid or plastic wrap to retain moisture. Keep it partially open for airflow.
- Provide Light & Warmth:
- Use a grow light or LED aquarium light for 8–12 hours a day. Maintain a temperature of 24–26°C (75–79°F).
- Mist Daily:
- Keep the surface moist by misting with water twice daily. Avoid letting the seeds dry out.
- Flooding the Tank:
- Once sprouts reach about 1 cm, slowly fill the tank with water. Pour carefully to avoid disturbing the new plants.
- Resume Normal Setup:
- Turn on the filter and heater. Avoid strong water currents for the first few days after flooding.
